What do you think about getting back together with an ex?

We were together for 2 years 3 1/2 years ago.
He wants me back….
We are still friends we hang out and stuff but I am not sure about giving the relationship another go…
Whats your opinion on getting back together with an ex?
He broke up with me due to a misunderstanding. We were young and after growing up a little he has realised the error of his ways.
Or os he says. It seems that way to me too.
Try to think about why you broke up the first time. Is it something that time can change or is it just part of someone’s personality (that doesn’t usually change)?

I love my current and has a place in my heart of my ex. no one can change that. But since you are a lone, go for it. He is in your heart and you are single. So just give him another chance. Bt if you are taken, then that is another story.

Well, they are an ex for a reason…think about the good and bad moments in the relationship. If one outweighs the other then that should help you make a decision.
I haven’t dated an ex again but I’ve contemplated it. After I thought about how we were I just decided it wasn’t the best thing to do. Plus, 3.5 years is a long time, people can change.

Well getting back together with an X is one of those things. You have to re-think why you broke up with them originally. Why all of sudden now after so much time is what you should ask yourself? Just understand if you are friends with an X and u decide to try again, it becomes very hard to draw that line if u break up. and decide to be friends again. It is a major risk.. So you need to decide if its worth losing a friend or worth making a higher commitment with no boundaries? and second of all Does he give you that rush… ? And if you truly wanted him back, would u hesitate and ask others.. or just go with it.. and think later!

I wouldn’t do it, because you’ll have the same problems you did the first time. Friends is always a good way to stay.
